Mr. Muhammad Younis is a Senior Tax Associate and joined the firm in February 2017. He is currently one of the senior-most individuals in the Income Compliance division of the firm. Mr. Younis is known for his expertise in taxation, specifically income tax, and has developed strong relationships with contemporaries in the taxation practice and with the department. This allows him to assist and educate clients on income tax matters effectively. His competence in the field is complemented by over two decades of experience.
Mr. Younis was enrolled as an advocate in 2013 and is a qualified advocate of the High Court of Sindh.
Mr. Younis has played a leading role in the taxation sector and has gained recognition for his proficiency. He is well-respected in the taxation community, both by colleagues and government officials.
His core expertise lies in the fields of taxation, corporate law, criminal litigation, contracts, and agreements between parties and firms. He has significant experience in drafting and handling writ petitions, MOUs, contracts, and agreements. Additionally, he serves as the legal adviser for the Excise, Taxation & Narcotic Department of the Government of Balochistan and Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology, Khuzdar, since 2018. He manages tax matters, including Sales Tax, Income Tax, Advance Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and Provincial Taxes like BRA and SRA, for various firms and dealerships, such as Atlas Honda Centre.
